Efficio’s Simon Whatson named a ‘Pro to Know’ in the Supply & Demand Chain Executive Awards 2021

Efficio is proud to announce that UK-based Vice President Simon Whatson has been named among Supply & Demand Chain Executives (SDCE) Pros to Know 2021.
Simon joined Efficio in 2015 with considerable expertise in procurement consulting, sourcing, and supply chain gained from roles in industry and leading management consultancies, including Oliver Wyman. Now accumulating 15 years’ experience, Simon is a Vice President and senior project leader who manages international teams of consultants to deliver large-scale procurement transformation projects, many of which are global, spanning a range of sectors.
From hosting events such as the inaugural World Digital Procurement Summit in 2019, to leading the development of Efficio’s first thought leadership report on digital transformation, Simon has participated in a number of influential projects and initiatives over the past few years, having most recently co-authored a book, PROFIT FROM PROCUREMENT: How to Add 30% to Your Bottom Line by Breaking Down Silos. With a release date in mid-April 2021, the book provides a practical and concrete roadmap to unlock your company’s profit potential.
Simon was recognised in the Provider Pros to Know category, which acknowledges outstanding executives who have helped supply chain clients and the supply chain community at large prepare to meet many of today’s – and tomorrow’s – challenges.
Simon is a highly motivated, highly collaborative, and widely respected member of our leadership team, and we are delighted that he has been recognised for his work.
