Efficio, the world’s largest specialist procurement and supply chain consultancy, is proud to announce that Principals Marie-Eve Allison and Robyn Loubser are recipients of Supply & Demand Chain Executive and Food Logistics publications’ 2023 Women in Supply Chain award.

The award honours female supply chain leaders and executives whose accomplishments, mentorship, and examples set a foundation for women in all levels of a company’s supply chain network.

With 15 years of experience in supply chain and procurement consulting, Marie-Eve Allison uses her vast expertise to lead large teams on procurement transformation programmes that help leading companies to develop and implement tools and strategies to make their procurement and supply chains more effective and efficient. Fluent in her native French, as well as English and German, Marie-Eve also harnesses her international background to support her multinational clients. Marie-Eve aims to inspire her female colleagues to reach positions of leadership, utilising her position of influence to support and guide junior women.

Since joining Efficio as a Business Analyst in 2015, Robyn Loubser has swiftly risen through the ranks to become a leader for Efficio’s internal and client-facing learning and development in procurement and supply chain. In response to the 2020 pandemic, she led the transformation of our extensive Efficio Academy into a programme of blended digital and instructor-led delivery to adapt to the new hybrid work environment. Robyn is very active in numerous Efficio committees; she has been a leader of our internal mentorship programme and deputy chairperson of the Charity Committee, for instance.

One of the qualities that makes Marie-Eve unique is the fact she brings together the analytical and technical skills needed to work in procurement and supply chain with authentic stakeholder engagement and leadership – a powerful combination that allows her to successfully deliver programmes in true partnership with her clients. Marie-Eve is also committed to developing procurement and supply chain experts within Efficio, adapting her management style to suit different needs.

Robyn’s talent for learning and development, combined with her expertise in designing creative solutions to complex problems, made her an ideal fit to build the Efficio Academy. Her commitment and drive for talent development provides inspiration to young colleagues exploring careers in supply chain and procurement consulting, as well as those more experienced in the industry.

We are pleased to see Marie-Eve and Robyn receive the recognition they deserve, and we look forward to seeing their further achievements in the field of supply chain.

As more women join the supply chain workforce, they bring diverse perspectives that can help address complex supply chain problems and improve global supply chain operations. It is important that we empower, recognise and elevate these achievements through initiatives like the Women in Supply Chain Award, as seen through the overwhelming response.”
