Livingbridge today announced that it has completed a minority investment in procurement specialist Efficio.

Founded 15 years ago, Efficio works with clients across the world to help them achieve breakthrough results in their procurement functions. With revenues of over £30m, the firm achieves sustainable results for its clients by helping them to identify, deliver and sustain benefits in procurement. Efficio currently has around 250 employees based in offices in Europe and North America as well as its London headquarters.

In Livingbridge we have found a partner who understands our ambitions for the business and will work with us as we turn them into reality. This investment will enable us to continue our international expansion and will help us to further develop our managed services and technology offerings. We look forward to working with the Livingbridge team.
Jens Pedersen, Chief Executive

Expanded offering

The company has evolved significantly over the last two years, to offer a much broader spectrum of services than traditional procurement consulting – a long term managed services business, which now accounts for a third of revenues, and eFlow, a suite of best-in-class procurement technologies that help clients to manage and sustain benefits over the long term. To date it has undertaken projects across six continents in more than 30 different countries.

Double-digit growth

Efficio has enjoyed double-digit growth year on year over the last 15 years. The investment by Livingbridge will help Efficio to accelerate its growth trajectory over the coming years while retaining the stability of its established leadership team. The growth plan involves three core components: further expansion of long term managed service revenues, continued build out of eFlow procurement technologies, and international expansion.

Efficio was advised on the transaction by DC Advisory.

Efficio is a business we have admired for some time and we are delighted to partner with such a successful international consultancy. We look forward to supporting the team's global ambitions and rapidly expanding managed services offering, as well as looking to future growth with their exciting new procurement technologies.
