Prof. Dr. Elisabeth Fröhlich will open the evening's talk with a discussion about a forward-looking human resources policy in procurement that will remain valid in the world of tomorrow.

In her speech, Elisabeth will focus above all on the challenges of recruiting in times of a general shortage of skilled employees and the right course for personnel development in procurement. There will be also opportunity to discuss with the speaker and the other participants the complex factor of personnel for the procurement of the future.

About the speaker

Elisabeth has been a professor at the Cologne Business School (CBS) since the end of 2007, where she is responsible for strategic procurement management. Since 2013 she has headed the CBS as president of the university. Her current research focuses on sustainable SCM, in particular green procurement, qualification in purchasing, in particular organizational and personnel challenges of agile purchasing, procurement 4.0 and strategic supplier management.

The venue

The event will take place at the Park Hyatt Vienna, located in the city centre's Golden Quarter. The hotel is in a former bank building dating back to the early 1900s and combines luxury with Viennese elegance.
