Adam joined Efficio in 2011 and has since worked across a wide variety of procurement transformation, strategic sourcing, outsourcing and local content projects with clients in the banking, pharmaceutical, construction, chemical, hospitality and fashion industries. 

Main areas of practice

Adam has extensive experience in strategic sourcing, outsourcing, procurement transformation, and local content through working on a wide set of projects across the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Barbados and the Middle East. 

Career

Adam holds a Master’s of Science in Economics from the Corvinus University Budapest, and a Master’s in International Management from CEMS (Community of European Management Schools). He joined Efficio in 2011 and is a member of the senior management team of our MENA region, leading Efficio’s Local Content Center of Excellence.

Adam focusses on clients within the banking, hospitality, chemical and construction sectors, delivering value through strategic sourcing, procurement transformation and local content programmes. 

Significant experience

  • Local Content development - MENA: Adam is leading Efficio’s Local Content Center of Excellence and has implemented multiple comprehensive Local Content (LC) programmes for clients in Saudi Arabia. Lately, he has been supporting the world’s third largest chemicals company in designing and implementing their LC programme, with activities including LC baselining, target setting, measurement, localisation opportunity identification, embedding of LC into procurement processes, creation of investor and supplier support frameworks, investor attraction and development of OEM supplier alliances. 
  • Procurement and Supply Chain transformation - UK: Led a supply chain optimisation programme with a major UK housebuilder, focussing on restructuring the subcontractor base, re-sourcing of construction material frameworks and improving CAPEX related commercial processes.
  • Outsourcing - UK: Supported the sale and associated outsourcing of mortgage services at a major UK banking organisation. Main workstreams included the creation of a full-scope Outsourced Servicing Agreement between the purchaser of the operations company and the Bank’s remaining asset management business, multi-week negotiation preparation and delivery with short-listed bidders and third party contract remediation.
  • Outsourcing and IT Transformation – UK banking: Sourced a Delivery Partner for an Enterprise infrastructure outsourcing project at a major UK banking organisation. Conducted end-to-end sourcing process to select a partner for detailed requirements definition and transformation delivery phases.

Interests

Besides being the biggest fan of Formula-1, Adam also enjoys sport, in particular tennis (with limited success) and cycling. He enjoys being on the move, and his next target is Japan.
