Jamie specialises in defence across both the public and private sectors. He brings deep sector expertise, particularly within the naval environment. He has advised on major acquisition and build programmes, as well as across the spectrum of in-service support - including delivery with prime contractors, bases, and OEMs. The focus of his work is in supporting clients to improve availability, resilience, and value for money across complex portfolios of platforms, infrastructure, and critical services.

He applies an analytical and principled approach to help clients develop and align to strategy, and then to shape and deliver large programmes in execution. He has particular functional experience within commercial strategy, operating models, and operational improvement. Representative engagements include acting as commercial architect for a >£0.8bn defence procurement, developing a 15-year in-service support strategy for a front-line command, and driving critical platform availability for a delivery agent through a revised operating model and commercial structure.

Jamie has led large, multidisciplinary project teams delivering measurable outcomes in highly regulated and secure environments, with a focus on practical implementation, stakeholder alignment, and sustainable capability uplift for clients operating at scale.
