As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled Financial Reporting Manager to oversee group-level reporting during a maternity cover period.

The Financial Reporting Manager leads Efficio’s group reporting processes, ensuring technical accuracy, high-quality outputs, and consistent consolidation practices across all regions. The role is central to IFRS compliance, statutory reporting, audit readiness, and continuous improvement of the group reporting framework.

Please note that this is a fixed term-contract (18 months). The target starting date would be July 2026.

Key Responsibilities

Group Consolidation & Reporting
· The end-to-end preparation of consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual group financial results, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to IFRS.
Statutory & Regulatory Reporting
· The production of statutory financial statements for group entities.
· Ensure timely and compliant submissions in line with regulatory requirements.
· Liaise with external advisors to validate disclosures and accounting treatments.
Accounting Policies & Technical Compliance
· Maintain and enforce the Group Accounting Policy Framework.
· Assess the impact of new IFRS standards and lead the implementation and communication of policy updates.
· Provide technical accounting guidance to finance and operational teams.
Audit Management
· Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors during interim and year-end audits.
· Ensure timely and accurate responses to audit requests and support a smooth audit process.
· Proactively review and strengthen the control environment to ensure audit readiness.
Intercompany Processes & Balance Sheet Governance
· Oversee intercompany reconciliations and maintain ownership of the intercompany matrix.
· Ensure balances are complete, accurate, and within agreed tolerance thresholds.
· Review key balance sheet reconciliations, escalating aged or at-risk items promptly.
Collaboration & Business Partnering
· Work closely with FP&A to align management reporting, forecasting, and narrative commentary.
· Provide technical accounting insight to commercial and operational teams to support decision making.


Requirements
Education & Certification
· ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
Experience
· Experience in financial reporting, group consolidation, audit, or technical accounting.
Technical Skills
· Strong working knowledge of IFRS.
· Experience with ERP systems (advantageous).
· Advanced Excel skills.
Soft Skills
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Strong attention to detail and organisational ability.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
