With the post-Brexit Procurement Bill soon to be rolled out, at Efficio, we are working with our public sector clients to ensure that they are prepared for the changes ahead.

We will be running our inaugural Procurement Bill event, including an expert panel discussion and Q&A, a workshop focussing on effective negotiation, and the opportunity to network with like-minded professionals over complimentary food and drinks.

Our expert panel will provide a comprehensive overview of the expected key changes related to the Procurement Bill and share their insights on how these can be effectively navigated.  The panel members are:

  • Andy Clark – Head of Commercial Services at Yorkshire Water
  • Matt James – Commercial Director at Department for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy
  • Richard Bonnar – Lawyer specialising in major projects for the government and part time Professor at the School of Law, University of Leeds
  • Einav Ben Yehuda – Chief Commercial Officer at Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs

Agenda

  • 16:00 - 16:30 - Attendee arrival
  • 16:30 - 18:00 - Workshop/Panel Discussion/Q+A
  • 18:00 - 19:30 - Networking

The workshop that follows will be focused on the new ‘competitive flexible procedure’, which is expected to create greater opportunities for negotiation in public procurement.  Through recent case studies, our experienced negotiators will demonstrate how negotiation can drive value without necessarily adding time or complexity to the procurement process.

As the Bill progresses towards legislation, now is the time to start thinking about the changes you need to make – be they process, policy, training, or culture.  As public procurement professionals, this event will help you consider what changes are important to you and your team and present some exciting opportunities for change.

This event has limited capacity, so please be sure to register today to avoid missing out.
