Businesses are being asked at an increasing pace to credentialize their contributions and commitments to Social Value and Sustainability, and procurement teams are increasingly expected to consider this for their extended supply chain as well.

While there are some standard guidelines for procurement teams provided by governments (e.g. Social Value in the UK, Green Public Procurement in the EU, and Local Content in the Middle East), these can be hard to interpret and put into practice.

In this workshop, Pauline Potter and Adam Forgacs will:

  • Discuss the key pillars of Social Value in procurement
  • Share some examples of how to make metrics and supplier evaluation questions pragmatic and outcome-oriented
  • Provide some best practice examples of delivering on Social Value outcomes through procurement
