Procurement 2025: Is digital transformation driving more effective procurement?

The next meeting of the German Procurement Leadership Club will take place on 6th June at the Hotel Atlantic Kempinski in Hamburg. Wolfgang Rüth, Principal at Efficio, will present our new large-scale study on digital procurement. Efficio interviewed 225 senior procurement professionals from Germany, the UK and US, in cooperation with Cranfield University, to determine their view of the digital procurement landscape and its impact on their organisation.

Wolfgang’s presentation will be rounded off by Dr. Christoph Seyfarth from TALENTspy. We are delighted to be joined by Christoph, an internationally recognized expert in the fields of digital procurement and procurement optimization.

Following the presentations, we will discuss the opportunities and challenges that digital transformation offers. There will be further opportunity for exchanging experiences and networking at an exclusive dinner afterwards.

About the speaker

Wolfgang Rüth, Principal at Efficio, is part of the company’s German management team. Prior to joining Efficio, Wolfgang worked for Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in France and Brazil for seven years. His areas of expertise are primarily in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. In addition, he has experience as an interim CPO with a global telecommunications group.

Dr. Christoph Seyfarth has extensive experience from his many years in management positions as CPO and COO in the automotive and wind energy industries, as well as management consulting. He is now Managing Partner at the renowned executive search firm TALENTspy in Munich.

The venue

The event will take place at Hamburg’s famous Hotel Atlantic Kempinski, which unites the traditional and the modern, representing exquisite grand-hotel style with European flair. Located directly on Lake Alster, the hotel has served as a calm oasis since its opening in 1909.

The typical Hanseatic Noblesse and exclusivity of the meeting rooms, with a ceiling height of eight metres, provide the perfect scenery for our networking event. The Atlantic Restaurant offers a combination of modern German cuisine with regional and maritime cuisine.

The Procurement Leadership Club is a networking club for CPOs and senior procurement professionals. Getting to the very heart of procurement challenges and opportunities, it has been designed to provide a wealth of insight, expert knowledge exchange, and valuable networking opportunities.
