Our US team is looking to hire a Business Development professional who understands the consulting landscape and has direct experience selling procurement services as a product. Ideally, this person will bring a strong network of relationships with large corporates across the US.
You’ll be joining a specialist BD function at Efficio, focused on driving revenue and enabling structured growth. This is an exciting opportunity to help build out the BD capability in the US, working closely with consultants to leverage their networks and enhance sales strategy. A key part of the role will involve mapping and managing existing US clients, identifying opportunities for expansion, and unlocking access to new areas within current accounts. You’ll also be expected to activate your own network, introducing Efficio into relevant conversations at the right level.
As the lead for business development in the US, you’ll work in close partnership with our US-based Vice Presidents to define and execute targeting strategies for new client acquisition. You will act as both a hands-on contributor and a strategic advisor, capable of managing day-to-day sales activity while shaping long-term growth plans.
You’ll also work in close collaboration with our global marketing team, helping to tailor thought leadership and outreach materials that resonate with our US client base. Once engagement has been generated through marketing activity, it will be your responsibility to follow up and lead client conversations, positioning Efficio effectively and converting interest into tangible opportunities.
Currently, most of our BD capability is based in London. As such, this role requires someone confident operating independently in the US market - comfortable with execution, relationship-building, and strategic thinking in equal measure.

As part of a high-performing, globally recognized consultancy, you’ll have the autonomy to define how we do business development in the US, while partnering with some of the world’s most influential companies. You’ll work closely with specialist consultants and clients, gaining direct exposure to C-suite decision-makers and strategic procurement challenges across major corporates.
