Michaela Merlin-JonesSenior Manager
I joined Efficio as an experienced hire, having spent three years in operations consulting at Deloitte.

What attracted me to Efficio

I was attracted to Efficio because it offered me the opportunity to become an expert in the field of Procurement in an international environment.  I had previously enjoyed working on a couple of Procurement projects but felt I lacked the depth of knowledge required to truly add value in the way that an experienced Efficio consultant can.

My role

Since joining Efficio I have really benefited from both project experience (I have sourced Travel and Fleet to date) and the excellent training which is delivered on a regular basis.  I have also been able to make use of my language skills for the first time since graduating from Cambridge University and have enjoyed travelling to Paris, Rotterdam and Brussels.

Why I enjoy life at Efficio

Aside from the project work I have really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere at Efficio – the culture of always aiming to have Fridays in the office lets you get to know your colleagues in a way which is uncommon in the world of consulting.  We also have excellent End of Month events – my salsa dancing, cooking and theatre skills have improved immensely since joining the firm!
