I joined Efficio following seven years at Roland Berger and A.T. Kearney in southern Europe, where I was involved in large corporate restructuring and strategic planning assignments.
I am excited by complex, difficult challenges, and Efficio has given me a unique opportunity to add real value in an area that puzzles almost all organizations. Procurement has all the ingredients I look for in a role: challenging problems to solve, 'big picture' thinking, a lot of persuasion and some really entertaining negotiations. It's a privilege to be part of a cohesive group that truly wants to be - and is - the best.
At Efficio, I have led large Procurement Transformation Programmes in Brazil, Mexico, Canada and the UK. These have involved finding new ways of engaging the supplier market as well as training, mentoring and developing new tools for them to use. Having the opportunity to make a real difference to clients has been hugely satisfying and rewarding. I have also enjoyed running several six to eight week Opportunity Assessments that are our first contact with new clients, working with them to help them understand the enormous value that investing in procurement can deliver.
What I enjoy about Efficio
I enjoy the multicultural environment at Efficio, as well as the diversity and different perspectives that come with it. As I am lucky enough to speak five languages, I also enjoy having the opportunity to use my language skills with clients and colleagues.
For me, Efficio combines the drive and focus to be the world's best at procurement, the excitement of being part of a fast-growing firm, the luxury of working with very smart people, and the sanity of a close-knit and informal group, from the Leadership team down. I feel very fortunate to be part of the Efficio 'family'.
