LONDON – Efficio, the procurement experts, have been appointed by Informa’s Knowledge and Networking division to review, set up and embed a new procurement function across the business, recruiting and training an internal team who will continue to deliver efficiencies over the long term.
The Efficio team has impressed us from the start with their enthusiastic attitude to the opportunities we have as a new division. Having grown quickly through acquisition over the past few years, we can create efficiencies without losing what makes those businesses appealing to end customers. Knowledge and Networking is Informa’s global conference and training division, and as such is made up of a number of sector-specific functions delivering similar products. By reviewing buying patterns across the business at an operational level, it is possible to create efficiencies without affecting the quality of the events. We will work closely with the team, transferring skills to Informa employees so that the new procurement function we put in place will sustain the strategic improvements delivered in the first phase.
