Jesper Schade, Vice President

Jesper Schade is Vice President with more than 20 years’ experience in Strategic Procurement and Supply Chain. At Efficio, he has played a prominent role in building the firm’s market in the Nordic Region and Germany. Jesper is an expert in scoping the opportunity and laying out a practical, yet aggressive plan that delivers lasting results.

Career

Jesper has built his consulting career with A.T. Kearney and, since 2007, with Efficio. He holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, and is a Bachelor of Economics in Organization and Strategy from Copenhagen Business School. He is fluent in Danish/Scandinavian, English, German and has basic French.

  • Strategic Procurement and Claims Transformation – Insurance company: Ongoing Strategic Sourcing and Change Management activities have been implemented following an Opportunity Assessment and Strategy Development across claims areas and categories
  • Procurement Transformation – Healthcare company:  Experienced in conducting Assessment, Program Development and Execution across categories including Marketing, Critical Raw Materials, Transport, and various indirects
  • Strategic Global Sourcing – High Tech company: Held European responsibility for global focus on Sourcing of indirects. This covered six separate workstreams and involved leading joint client/consultant teams to develop strategies, negotiate and select suppliers

Other expertise

Jesper conducts training in Strategic Sourcing on behalf of DILF (Danish Purchasing and Logistics Association) of which he is a member. He is a regular chairperson and speaker at their conferences.
