Efficio expands tech capability with Dedoko deal

Feb. 2, 2016

LONDON – Efficio, the procurement experts, today announced the acquisition of the development and management team of Dedoko, a leading web application development company based in Southampton, together with Dedoko’s IP assets. The acquisition comes three weeks after Efficio announced a minority investment by private equity firm Livingbridge.

The team which is transferring to Efficio specializes in creating bespoke cloud based applications for their clients, and has been working with Efficio on the development of the suite of custom procurement modules that make up the proprietary technology platform eFlow. Following the acquisition, the team will continue to work on the eFlow platform as well as supporting Efficio’s other clients.

This acquisition comes at an important time for Efficio, as we look to expand our technology offering to all of our clients. We have worked with the Dedoko team for the past three years and have been consistently impressed by the drive and enthusiasm of the team as well as the quality of their work. Paul O’Hanlon has an instinctive knack for solving complex business problems and his team designs creative technology solutions that have had a great impact on our clients. The team is a great fit for Efficio and we welcome them to the company.

James Jenkinson Vice President and Head of Technology Efficio

We set up to address a specific business need - to design bespoke business applications that run in the cloud, allowing users to have access to the technology they need regardless of where they are in the world. Business practices have changed significantly over the past decade, with companies realizing that buying software systems and running them on their own internal hardware simply does not offer the flexibility they need for their often geographically fragmented workforce. We are excited to join Efficio, and to help their clients maximize their full potential through the use of innovative technology.
