Our MENA team is going through an exciting period of growth and is Efficio's second largest and fastest growing region globally. To support this growth, we are hiring a Government and Legal Affairs Manager for our Riyadh office. The Government and Legal Affairs Manager will be committed to fostering strong relationships with government entities to ensure regulatory compliance, promote Efficio's interests, and contribute positively to the socio-economic development of Saudi Arabia. We are seeking a highly experienced, versatile Government and Legal Affairs Manager to join our team in Riyadh.

We'd love to hear about any additional skills or experiences you bring to the table. We're particularly interested in individuals with:
• A background as a qualified lawyer in Saudi Arabia with the right to appear in Saudi courts as Efficio's legal representative
• Significant experience (8 years+) working in compliance and government relations in Saudi
• Experience working in-house, ideally with some professional services background (Big Four / MBB / other consultancy)
• The legal knowledge to act as a senior advisor and serve as an escalation point on issues for more junior team members
• Experience of independently drafting commercial contracts and advising our growing MENA business on compliance matters
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with government officials, other external stakeholders, as well as internal stakeholders
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically, anticipate challenges, and develop proactive solutions
• Multicultural awareness and willingness to be part of an international team
• Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and verbal
• Proficiency with MS Office suite required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Knowledge of Saudi and UAE data protection laws and data hosting restrictions (preferable)
