Anders RavnSenior Manager

Anders joined Efficio in 2018 with an extensive consulting background. Since joining  he has utilised previous experience as well as the detailed and quality focused delivery model provided by Efficio to execute business strategy and deliver value via supply chain and procurement across a wide range of sectors. A particular focus has been on manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and logistics.

Anders specialises in delivering and creating lasting impact via complex transformation programmes, and has extensive experience in supply chain optimisation & planning, strategic sourcing, vendor management, procurement coaching & up-skilling and internal process improvements.

Career

Prior to joining Efficio, Anders worked at PA Consulting, focusing on complex transformation programmes in both private and public sector and Implement Consulting Group focusing on supply chain optimisation and planning across global organisations. 

Anders holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from DTU (Technical University of Denmark) in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Anders is a Danish national, speaking Danish and English.

Significant experience

Anders has successfully managed a large number of projects including:

  • Strategic sourcing and cost optimisation – Global manufacturing client: Managed strategic sourcing and cost reduction programme for global  pharmaceutical client. Led team in identifying cost savings for strategic indirect categories such as IT and building governance and organisation for future operations, resulting in savings of more than 150M DKK achieved over 50 negotiations
  • Large scale cost reduction – Global airline: Full scale opportunity assessment across all categories at a global airline, including benchmarks and best practise internal process optimisation to drive cost reductions. Categories ranging from legal services, IT, catering, to fuel
  • Global sales and operations planning implementation – Global dairy: Implemented a new sales and operations planning model across organisation. Leading teams in different workstreams based on product categories and regional sales groupings
  • Planning and procurement optimisation – Global chemical producer: Delivered significant efficiency improvement on short term planning and procurement handling in global chemical producer. Working with organisational structure as well as simple system introduction
