Efficio client Tryg shortlisted at CIPS Supply Management Awards 2018

30 Aug 2018
Procurement experts Efficio are delighted to announce that their client Tryg has been shortlisted in the ‘Best Cross-Functional Teamwork Project’ category at the CIPS Supply Management Awards 2018.

This category recognises how a procurement or supply chain management team has worked effectively with another team from the same organisation to achieve a mutual goal.

Tryg is one of the largest non-life insurance companies in the Nordic region. Operating in a highly competitive market with limited growth opportunities, finding new sources of competitive advantage was critical. Tryg responded to this challenge with a bold ambition – to be the best insurance company in the world.

Key to fulfilling this goal was cross-functional collaboration – in particular with the sales, claims management and IT functions, which were critical to achieving Tryg’s ambitious cost ratio target.

With procurement leading the way and supported by Efficio consultants, Tryg has achieved outstanding results including ‘best-in-class’ performance in many key industry financial and customer metrics, resulting in significant competitive advantage.

Winners of the CIPS Supply Management Awards will be announced at Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London, on 12 September.
