Accudyne appoints Efficio to transform supply chain

23 Nov 2015

LONDON – Efficio, the procurement expert, today announced that it has been appointed by Accudyne Industries to run the Accudyne Supply Chain Transformation Programme. A global manufacturer of flow control equipment and gas and air compressors, Accudyne Industries has operations across North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.

The transformation programme will focus on bringing together the procurement practices of the key subsidiaries – Sullair, Sundyne and Precision Flow Systems (which includes the Milton Roy, Haskel, YZ and LMI brands) and will address all key direct materials. The programme will implement a new, global procurement process across the whole company, leveraging bespoke IT tools and content expertise to provide a sustainable long-term cost saving solution.

Commenting on the programme, Dave Barta, Chief Financial Officer of Accudyne Industries said: “This is a significant transformation programme for Accudyne, benefitting all our key stakeholders – customers, shareholders, and employees; with a project scope that encompasses all third party expenditures across our business. As we kick off the first wave of the programme we needed a partner with global expertise in these areas, and we found exactly that with Efficio. We look forward to working with them on this ambitious project.”

Dave Barta Chief Financial Officer Accudyne Industries

Accudyne is an industry leader and the competitive nature of their markets combined with Accudyne’s decentralised structure make this transformation programme a particularly interesting one. We have deployed an experienced team across all the main business units as we start to develop a system that will result in better value for the purchase of materials and services as well as improve transparency and coordination across the Procurement community. Our ultimate goal is to give Accudyne the ability to sustain the benefits achieved in the long term and we are confident we can deliver that.
